Change lives and community through the power of WORK. Learn how corporate giving to Goodwill makes a difference in your community.
Is your business looking to make an impact on people and the planet? There are many ways to partner with Goodwill, including corporate donations.
Businesses often choose to donate surplus inventory, make financial donations, hold team-building community fundraising events, and provide non-cash donations of time, services or expertise. Learn more about the ways you can give through your business.
Donate your surplus inventory to Goodwill! Do good – divert from landfill, deduct it as a business expense, and help people with barriers to employment on their path to work. Inventory such as clothing, furnishings, home décor, books, toys, games, and kitchen accessories can be donated at any of our Donation Centres. To coordinate any donations of inventory or to inquire about a business inventory receipt for your records, please contact Moira Byrne, Community Engagement Coordinator at mbyrne@goodwillindustries.ca or by phone at 519-645-6490.
Your business can help transform lives through the power of work by making a financial gift or sponsorship that supports programs, fundraising campaigns, capital needs and more.
A great way to support Goodwill and encourage your business to get involved in our community is through a Third Party Fundraising event that is planned, organized, executed and financially resourced by your team and supports Goodwill.
You can connect with our team here to discuss your fundraiser... or you can set up an online giving page/campaign supporting Goodwill Industries – Ontario Great Lakes through CanadaHelps.
Goodwill regularly partners with individuals and businesses who want to promote social good while growing their brand. This may include offering to donate a percentage of sales from a product or event, or encouraging donation drives or thrift shopping at Goodwill. If you are looking to partner with us, use the contact form below or contact Moira Byrne, Communications and Community Engagement Coordinator at mbyrne@goodwillindustries.ca or by phone at 519-850-9000 ext. 2205.
Be one of our workplace, school, Church, or community group partners who hold community donation drives to collect goods to donate to Goodwill! You can choose a theme (children's clothes, sports equipment, bags and backpacks, etc.) or just collect everyday items to donate! Check out the items we accept here. Items can be dropped off at any Donation Centre.
Coordinating a large donation drive? Use the contact form below to let us know and we will assist with that drop-off to make sure our team is prepared for your arrival.

I came to Canada in 2016 and at first it was difficult because I didn’t have Canadian work experience even though I had worked 10 years in the industry. I started at Goodwill as a team supervisor and a couple months later had an opportunity for a promotion. I think that is part of what Goodwill does; they create opportunities to grow.

I’m learning things and feeling more confident. For others that are going through the same thing I’ve been through; never give up. Baby steps. Keep dreaming big.

I came to Canada with a dream of owning my own business. After Goodwill gave me the opportunity to start my business, I am able to give the opportunity to other people who are new to this country.
