Team Lead, Outlet Store

The Outlet Store Team Lead is responsible for assisting the Outlet Manager in the day-to-day running of the Outlet store and recycling department. The Team Lead takes an “on the floor” approach to management, working alongside hourly team members to lead, coach and support the team while contributing to the processing of donations. Team Leads must be prepared and capable of handling a variety of situations that may arise; when the Manager is not present, the Team Lead is considered the acting Manager.

This position requires the successful candidate to have a valid driver’s license and a reliable insured vehicle. The successful candidate would have to provide proof that they have a valid driver’s license and proof of car insurance upon being hired.

What You Will Do:
Decision Making:
The Outlet Store Team Lead will have authority to make decisions on the following matters:
• Assess and assign employees to work positions within the framework of the Guiding Principles and River System business model and business needs.
• Responsible for ensuring the delivery of world class customer service to all customers, internal and external.
• For decisions above this authority level, the Outlet Store Team Lead must refer to their Outlet Manager.
