Goodwill Ontario Great Lakes is excited to announce our expansion into Port Elgin, bringing new opportunities to the community!
Our Community Store and Donation Centre is located at 1110 Goderich St, Port Elgin. This new location is more than just a store—it’s a mission in action. At Goodwill, we believe in changing lives and communities through the power of work, and with this expansion, we are creating 40 new jobs in the area, helping individuals build careers and achieve economic independence.
But our impact doesn’t stop there. Every donation to Goodwill helps divert waste from local landfills, giving pre-loved items a second life. With the support of community donations in Saugeen Shores and Bruce County, this Goodwill location aims to divert up to 2.4 million pounds of waste from landfills annually. Plus, each purchase supports job training programs and employment opportunities for people facing barriers to work.
The Donation Centre opens on March 24, making it easy for community members to donate unwanted items in our drive-thru donation centre.

As of March 24, 2025 our Donation Centre will operate:
Monday to Friday - 8 am to 9 pm
Saturday - 8 am to 6 pm
Sunday - 9 am to 5 pm
