Do you have working, unused or non-working electronics sitting around at home? You can donate your electronics to Goodwill. All Goodwill Donation Centre locations accept laptops, PCs, tablets, cell phones, televisions, radios, used batteries and more. Any electronics that can’t be resold in our Community Stores still contain some valuable components and material that can be safely recycled to manufacture new products. We’ll turn your used electronics into jobs… and divert this from landfill in the process!
Is your office looking to shed outdated laptops, PCs, phone systems, photocopiers, cell phones, or TVs? Goodwill can recycle upwards of 90% of their component parts, and some are eligible to get their data wiped and the units refurbished and reused! Because of space constraints at our individual Donation Centre locations, please contact our Recycling Team to help coordinate your bulk, office electronic donations.
Personal Data Notice
Goodwill ‘wipes’ and refurbishes all electronic devices with personal data (computers, cell phones, tablets, etc.) that are suitable for resale. Goodwill wipes devices per the “Guidelines for Media Sanitization” published in the National Institute of Standards and Technology Special Publication 800-88r1. If the device that you donate does not have resale value, it will be recycled.
